Error Codes
Panel trouble when adapter connected
| Display / trouble | Meaning | Action |
|---|---|---|
| USB Wi-Fi Connected | HSM3WIFI detected on USB | Expected during programming — remove when done |
| USB Wi-Fi Connected persists | Adapter still inserted or port fault | Remove adapter; inspect USB port |
| Cannot connect to panel Wi-Fi | Wrong network or adapter fault | Reseat adapter; verify SSID in programming app |
| Programming session drops | Wi-Fi range or panel reboot | Stay near panel; avoid power cycling mid-session |
Not a zone or module fault
HSM3WIFI does not consume a Corbus address — troubles are USB accessory status only, not wireless supervision.
Handoff requirement
Trouble must clear after adapter removal before customer turnover on monitored accounts.
When not to use HSM3WIFI
- Permanent remote access substitute — use listed IP/communicator path instead.
- Non-Pro panels — USB port not compatible with Keybus/Neo/MAXSYS families.
