Platform characteristics

Service perspective
Plan keypad and IQ Remote layout per partition so operators always have local status and arming control in assigned areas.
Troubleshooting
Interface parity checks
- Confirm trouble state consistency between HS2LCD and IQ Remote displays.
- If states differ, verify partition assignment and panel sync.
PowerG troubleshooting
- Recheck enrollment and signal path for PG sensors.
- Validate final mounted location behavior, not only bench enrollment.
Partition behavior checks
- Confirm users, keypads, and remotes are mapped to intended partitions.
- Validate arming/disarming permissions per partition.
- Single-partition sites: all keypads may show global status; multi-partition sites require partition-select on HS2LCD before arming.
Testing before handoff
- Run walk test and verify PG device supervision on each partition.
- Test IQ Remote arming/disarming on assigned partition only.
- Confirm Alarm.com mobile app (if enabled) is not used on UL/ULC listed fire installs unless explicitly approved.
Communication checks
- Clear local trouble first.
- Re-run path test and verify report transmission end-to-end.
