What this device does in the system

Reports intrusion, life-safety, or status conditions to the host panel — faults appear as zone or module troubles, not always on the device itself.

Before you install or replace one

  • Confirm exact model number on the label matches the install manual.
  • Verify host panel or system family — Keybus, Corbus, Combus, PowerG, MX, or 433 MHz are not interchangeable.
  • Check device limits on the panel/receiver before adding zones, sirens, or credentials.
  • Include current draw in power budget calculations for modules, receivers, and keypads.
  • For wireless: test RF at the mounted location, not only on the bench.

Compatible Peripherals

This page lists which panels and systems this product works with — not unrelated sensors or keypads.

Host compatibility

Host systemHow it connects
PowerSeries with RF5132 v5.1+ or RFK55xx v1.2+WS4913 and listed CO wireless models
PowerG platformsListed PG CO devices per manual

Not compatible / common mistakes

  • Early RF5132 without CO-capable firmware
  • Burglary partition-only CO without life-safety path

Replacement guidance

  • Match model, frequency, and bus type to the removed device.
  • Re-enroll wireless devices after replacement — ESN/serial changes with new hardware.
  • Document zone/siren/device number for monitoring station handoff.
