Before You Install or Replace One
- Confirm exact model number on the communicator label matches the install manual.
- Verify host panel family — Keybus PowerSeries, Neo Corbus, MAXSYS Combus, IMPASSA integrated, or universal dialer-capture are not interchangeable.
- Confirm monitoring receiver and account accept this communicator format (Contact ID, SIA, IP, cellular).
- Check carrier/network generation (3G sunset, LTE band, Ethernet path) for your region.
- Add communicator current draw to panel battery standby calculation where the module loads from panel bus power.

Error Codes
Communicator faults appear on the host panel trouble display ([*, 2] on keypads where supported) and in DLS/dealer tools — the communicator itself may show LED status per its install manual.

HSPA SEM module
- System Enhancement Module adds cellular to PowerSeries without full dual-path IP — distinct from GS2060.
HSPA SEM
Module Status in DLS shows HSPA registration state. Registration LED flash >10 min = SIM/APN or PowerSeries communicator type in programming still set to prior SEM SKU.
