Installation Notes

Required pre-power sequence (Installation Guide v1.0)

Complete all four steps before applying power:

StepTask
1Site survey, mount hub, route power and network
2Dealer account provisioning (Alarm.com or SecureNet)
3Plan PowerG device list, locations, and enrollment order
4Verify power source, battery, and grounding readiness

Post-power commissioning

  1. Confirm integrated touchpad boots and accepts installer login.
  2. Enroll PowerG sensors/sirens — placement test at final mount location.
  3. Press **[*][2]** after each major step — clear System/Zone/Communication layers before handoff.
  4. Run walk test and central-station communication test on configured service path.
  5. Document hub SKU, cellular/IP path, and PowerG device IDs for service.

Technician reminders

  • Never skip pre-power steps — guide treats them as blocking prerequisites.
  • Cloud/account provisioning failures mimic "communicator trouble" — fix account first.
  • Complete final walk and communication testing prior to customer handoff.
