Troubleshooting

Wireless-first diagnostics

  • Confirm system is configured for expected 433 MHz device population.
  • Verify all missing zones are enrolled and supervised.
  • Re-test in final mounted locations after temporary bench enrollment.

Hardwired and PGM checks

  • Validate both hardwired inputs with open/restore tests.
  • Confirm PGM output loads do not exceed panel output limits.
  • PGM outputs: 2 outputs at 50 mA each.

Keypad and key support checks

  • Confirm total WT5500 keypad count does not exceed 4.
  • Confirm total WT4989 key count does not exceed 16.
  • If keypads appear offline, verify device enrollment and panel range.

Communication path checks

  • Match variant type (D/G/I) to installed communicator hardware.
  • For G and I variants, confirm service and account registration before final signal tests.
  • Run communicator test sequence only after trouble-free power baseline.

SCW9057 voice workflow

If 2-way audio is required, validate that the feature is enabled and tested through the active signaling path for the account.
