Overview
DMP XR Series hybrid control panels (XR550, XR350, XR100, etc.) supervise hardwired zones, 1100 Series wireless, keypads, and LTE/IP communicators with Dealer Admin programming and Virtual Keypad app control.
The panel is the brain of the DMP intrusion system: it supervises wired and wireless zones, drives bell/siren outputs, manages automation on supported models, and reports to central station when a compatible communicator is installed. Installers program zones, user codes, and dialer options in Dealer Admin; end users arm/disarm from keypads or the Virtual Keypad app.

What This Panel Does Well
Coordinates intrusion zones, automation, user codes, and central station reporting when cell and monitoring are configured.
Before You Service or Replace One
- Exact panel model — DMP vs DMP XR vs Reliance vs Entré — firmware and modules differ.
- Encryption — 1100 Series vs hardwired vs DMP XR wireless sensors in the field.
- Cell module SKU — DMP central station LTE vs DMP XR/Entré 4G (AU/NZ SKUs).
- Installer code — required for zone changes; document before service.
- central station / Dealer Admin dealer — account status, plan, and remote programming access.

FAQs
Which DMP/DMP panel do I have?
Check label and installer paperwork — XR, XT, and X1 platforms use different modules, firmware, and keypad options. 1100 Series wireless requires a compatible DMP receiver path on the panel.
Why does my panel show cell failure?
Usually inactive SIM, wrong module SKU, weak RSSI, or antenna fault — run installer cell test and verify central station / Dealer Admin/dealer activation.
Can I add sensors myself?
Wireless enrollment requires installer code on the panel for new zones — end users typically cannot add sensors without installer access.
Standard vs encrypted sensors?
1100 Series sensors require DMP or 1100 Series compatible hosts. Mixing without support causes enrollment failure or encryption trouble.

How do I test after installation?
Use panel walk test, zone status, and (if monitored) central station test per dealer procedure.
Can I mix 1100 Series and DMP XR wired devices?
1100 Series wireless devices require a DMP XR/XT panel with wireless receiver enabled — they do not enroll on hardwired-only configurations without the listed receiver hardware.
