Overview

DMP intrusion control panel — hybrid hardwire/wireless platform programmed through Dealer Admin with Virtual Keypad app and central-station reporting.

The panel is the brain of the DMP intrusion system: it supervises wired and wireless zones, drives bell/siren outputs, manages automation on supported models, and reports to central station when a compatible communicator is installed. Installers program zones, user codes, and dialer options in Dealer Admin; end users arm/disarm from keypads or the Virtual Keypad app.

What This Panel Does Well

Coordinates intrusion zones, automation, user codes, and central station reporting when cell and monitoring are configured.

Before You Service or Replace One

  • Exact panel model — DMP vs DMP XR vs Reliance vs Entré — firmware and modules differ.
  • Encryption — 1100 Series vs hardwired vs DMP XR wireless sensors in the field.
  • Cell module SKU — DMP central station LTE vs DMP XR/Entré 4G (AU/NZ SKUs).
  • Installer code — required for zone changes; document before service.
  • central station / Dealer Admin dealer — account status, plan, and remote programming access.

Official Sources

Use official DMP install PDFs and install guides for exact wiring, enrollment, and firmware — specifications vary by SKU and region.

Error Codes

DMP systems report faults on the panel and keypad status screens, zone list, and central station / Dealer Admin (when interactive service is active) — not as a single universal numeric code list across all models.

How to read status

  1. Open panel status or installer menu → zones / troubles.
  2. Note zone number, trouble type (open, tamper, low battery, missing, cell fail).
  3. Cross-check central station / Dealer Admin device list if the account is interactive.
  4. For cell issues, run installer communication test before replacing sensors.
