Delivers motion detection, alerts, and Live View when paired to a healthy Sync Module and Wi-Fi path.

  • Hub storage — USB accessories require Sync Module 2 local storage setup.
  • Generation — floodlight mount v1 vs Outdoor 4 mount are not interchangeable.

Installation Notes

Follow Sync Module 2 local storage operation guide and official support links in this product folder.

Pre-install checklist

  • Install Sync Module 2 or XR first for camera/doorbell products.
  • Confirm 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi available with internet access.
  • Charge or insert correct batteries before first sync.
  • Plan clip storage — cloud plan, USB, or microSD on hub.
  • For wired doorbell/floodlight: verify transformer/wiring meets Blink specs; turn off breaker.

Typical install sequence

  1. Plug in Sync Module; add to Blink app; confirm blue LED.
  2. Add camera/doorbell in app before final mount (Blink recommendation).
  3. Mount hardware per template; route cables cleanly on wired SKUs.
  4. Run Live View at final location; adjust aim and motion zones.
  5. Arm system; perform motion walk test; confirm notification/clip.
  6. Enable local storage or subscription as desired.

USB local storage

  • Use Blink-supported USB size/format — unsupported drives fail silently or error in app.
  • Enable local storage in app after drive inserted — clips route per motion settings.
