On ADT systems, this device is a supervised wireless peripheral (SiX on Command, Self-Setup RF on DIY hub, or Z-Wave for automation SKUs) — status appears in the ADT+ or ADT Control app, and faults can block arming depending on mode settings.

Replacement guidance
